bardzo stary dzbanek z cieniutkiej świetnej porcelany… niemal identyczny jak Tiefenfurt z tego okresu – dekor china blau- czyli schody cesarskiego ogrodu – motyw z bardzo starej i bardzo cennej chińskiej porcelany- który stał się niezwykle modny piękne wazy z których wyłania się gałązka kwitnącego lotosu - od końca XIX w az do czasów współczesnych z ta dekoracja powstawały całe serwisy- a najpiękniejszy jaki widziałem wyprodukowała fabryka Carstens z Sorau- porcelana nie ustepowała delikatnością japońskiej…
Tu mamy piekny dzbanek z fabryki Oscara Schallera- który może nie grzeszył oryginalnoscią- po prostu kopiował to co się najlepiej sprzedawało- ale starał się to robic dobrze. Dlatego jego kopie miśnieńskich filiżanek mają obecnie wartość kolekcjonerską – a sprzedawały się jak ciepłe bułeczki. Również nasz dzbanek z łatwością mógł być uznany za Tiefenfurt- gdyby nie listki na koronie- po których rozpoznałem Pana Schallera… - reszta prawie identyczna łącznie z pięknym secesyjnym uchwytem.
Wysokość 23 cm średnica 11,5 cm od dzióbka do ucha 21 cm – dzbanek ma niestety pęknięcie podłużne- niewidoczne z zewnątrz- ale od środka widoczny włosek pęknięcia długości 8 cm
Do tego ładna paterka talerz deserowy Seltmann powojenny 19,2 cm
I kubek z lat 70 tych – czyli o 60 lat starszy niż dzbanek – z fabryki Ilmenau – już dishwasher safe… wysokość 8,3 cm średnica 8,7 cm od brzegu do ucha 11,4 cm

[1] : Porzellanfabrik Oscar Schaller & Co. (1882 until 1917)
The company was founded in the year 1882 by the businessman Oscar Schaller and after exactly ten years he changed his mark into the symbol representing a stylized 'S & C' for 'Schaller & Co.'.
[2] : Porzellanfabrik Oscar Schaller & Co. Nachfolger (1917 until 1950)
In 1917 the company was taken over by the Gebrüder Winterling O.H.G. in Röslau (Bavaria) and renamed to 'Oscar Schaller & Co. Nachfolger'. The upward trend was so promising that they bought and converted the textile factory Kirchenlamitz (Upper Franconia, Bavaria) in 1920 and took over the company Porzellanfabrik Eduard Haberländer in Windischeschenbach (Upper Palatinate, Bavaria) in 1929. All these subsidiaries were kept under the name of 'Oscar Schaller & Co. Nachfolger'. In 1938 the group also took over the Triptiser Porzellanfabrik A.G. (Triptis, Thuringia) that remained a standalone factory for the next years until its expropriation and partial nationalization in 1947 which was completed after the founding of East Germany in 1949.
An interesting fact is that the company also manufactured some souvenir pieces for the town of Hallerstein, which at that time had a constant flow of tourists visiting their church in Zell-Hallerstein which was based on a chapel built in 1420. Today, pieces marked with 'Hallerstein' are much sought after pieces for collectors of Schaller or Winterling items.
[3] : Porzellanfabrik Gebrüder Winterling A.G. (1950 until 2000)
In 1950 the company was changed to corporation status and gave out shares; the family members being the main shareholders. All daughter companies were re-named to 'Gebrüder Winterling A.G.' and the marks used up until then were changed.
[4] : Triptis Porzellan G.m.b.H. & Co. K.G. (2000 until 2004)
After the bankruptcy of the 'Gebrüder Winterling A.G.' in November 2000, the facility and mark were taken over by the Triptis Porzellan G.m.b.H. & Co. K.G. located in Triptis (Thuringia). But the Triptis management had bitten off more than they could chew. Confronted with large scaled financial problems, Triptis themselves went insolvent on October 7th 2004 and had to file for bankruptcy a month later. In June 2005 the Triptis company was refounded as 'Neue Porzellanfabrik Triptis G.m.b.H.' and continued business, please view the Triptis entry for further info.
