Zbiór stu opowieści o Niezapomnianych Płytach Historii Rocka to cykl, który od początku 2002 r. jest publikowany na łamach "Dziennika Polskiego".

Obejmuje on albumy wydane w Złotej Erze tej muzyki, czyli pod koniec lat 60. ubiegłego wieku i w całej następnej dekadzie. Cały najwspanialszy rock pojawił się wraz z narodzinami "Sierżanta Pieprza" The Beatles, a apogeum swojej dojrzałości osiągnął podczas rachunku sumienia przeprowadzonego pod "Ścianą" Pink Floyd.

Potem oczywiście - co opisuję aktualnie w "Dzienniku" - żył dalej i to czasami mając się naprawdę dobrze, ale była to już egzystencja spokojniejsza, bardziej uporządkowana i podporządkowana mediom.

I jeszcze jedno - zapisane w tej książce opowieści niekiedy znacznie się różnią od swoich prasowych pierwowzorów, bo zdarzało się, iż z prozaicznego braku "miejsca", drukowane wówczas teksty byłyby mniej lub bardziej skracane. W tej książce publikowane są w swoim pełnym, pierwotnym wymiarze.
